Last night my mom’s condo burned to the ground. Everyone’s safe, but the fire destroyed 6 units and displaced 4 families. Here’s video of her place on the end, totally collapsing. :\

My sister and I had just spent the entire day celebrating Mother’s Day over there. So at least we had some good final memories in the place. But it’s pretty unreal to watch your tangible childhood memories crumble in front of your eyes. Thank god everyone’s okay. Count your blessings, pleasethanks.
