Aperture 3 Workshop in Norfolk, Virginia
Heads up! I’ll be hosting another workshop for Apple this weekend in Norfolk. My talk will walk you through a complete wedding and describe how I use Aperture to manage my entire post-production workflow from image capture to deliver. If you’re a professional, aspiring professional, or just take a ton of photographs and want to organize them better, come learn how Aperture can help streamline your own workflow.
Apple Aperture Workshop with Justin Hankins - Monday, 9/28
My friends at Apple asked me to put together a workshop to teach people how I use Aperture in my photography workflow. The workshop is 9/28 at 6pm, and will be hosted by Apple MacArthur Center in Norfolk, VA.
If you’re unfamiliar with Aperture, it’s a software application by Apple that enables me to edit and manage the thousands of photographs I take every week. It’s as vital to my business as my camera, and I’ll be providing examples of how I use it in my daily life.
My presentation will focus on workflow, not necessarily photography, so it should appeal to anybody who takes a lot of photos and is interested in managing them better. Which is to say: you don’t have to be a wedding photographer, or even a professional photographer, to come out and learn something! If you’re stretching iPhoto to its limits, or you’re looking for an alternative to Photoshop and Lightroom, come out and kick the tires on Aperture with me.
If you’re interested in attending, please add yourself to the guest list on Facebook.
And please reblog this if you might have followers who would be interested! (I’ll probably reblog this all week, so forgive me ahead of time :p)
